Terms of Use
Wings of Hope Angels Entrepreneurship AI Platform
Version 1.0 · Effective date: 27 March 2026
In plain English. These Terms of Use explain the rules for using the Wings of Hope Angels Platform. They form a legal agreement between you (or your parent or guardian) and Wings of Hope Angels. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.
1. Who We Are
Wings of Hope Angels is a UK registered charity that helps children and young people develop entrepreneurship skills. We have built an AI-powered Platform (the “Platform”) to support young people in learning, developing, and presenting their business and social enterprise ideas.
In these Terms, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ refer to Wings of Hope Angels. ‘You’ or ‘User’ refers to the person using the Platform, including parents or guardians accessing the Platform on behalf of a young person.
2. Accepting These Terms
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must read and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you can use the Platform. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
3. Who Can Use the Platform
3.1 Age Requirement
The Platform is available to young people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to create accounts or use the Platform.
3.2 Parental or Guardian Consent
If you are aged 13 to 15, your parent or guardian must provide verified consent before you can register. If you are aged 16 or 17, we ask for parental or guardian acknowledgment as part of our safeguarding commitment. Parents and guardians who provide consent accept these Terms on the young person’s behalf and take shared responsibility for appropriate use.
3.3 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and must not share your login details with others. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us immediately at info@thewingsofhope.org.
4. What the Platform Does
The Platform provides:
- AI-powered coaching, guidance, and feedback on entrepreneurship projects
- Training materials and resources on business and social enterprise skills
- Tools to develop, organise, and present project ideas
- A space to save and track progress on your entrepreneurship journey
About the AI. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to provide coaching and feedback. The AI is designed to be helpful, encouraging, and age-appropriate. However, AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be perfectly accurate. Always apply your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek advice from a trusted adult.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 What You May Do
You may use the Platform to develop and refine your entrepreneurship project, engage with the AI for learning and feedback, upload content related to your project, and track your progress and achievements.
5.2 What You Must Not Do
You must not use the Platform to:
- Submit content that is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, violent, or harmful
- Harass, bully, or harm others
- Share personal information about other people without their consent
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data
- Try to manipulate, bypass, or misuse the AI system
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Post or share illegal content of any kind
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy any part of the Platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any User who breaches these rules. For young users, we will inform parents or guardians where appropriate and in line with our Safeguarding Policy.
6. Your Content
6.1 Ownership
You own the content you create on the Platform, including your project ideas, plans, documents, and other materials. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6.2 Licence to Wings of Hope
By uploading content to the Platform, you grant Wings of Hope a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform to you. We will not share your content with third parties or use it for purposes beyond operating the Platform without your consent.
6.3 AI Training
We will not use your project content or AI interaction history to train AI models without obtaining separate, explicit, informed consent from you and your parent or guardian.
6.4 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others, does not contain personal data of third parties without consent, and complies with applicable law.
7. The AI and Its Limitations
The AI on the Platform is a tool to support your learning and development. You should be aware of the following:
- AI responses are generated automatically and are not a substitute for professional advice — whether legal, financial, business, or otherwise.
- The AI may occasionally produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or not fully tailored to your specific situation. Always review AI feedback critically.
- The AI is designed to be safe and appropriate for young people, but it is not infallible. If you receive a response that seems inappropriate, please report it using the Platform’s feedback function or contact us directly.
- We continually review and improve the AI to make it more helpful and safer for young users.
8. Safeguarding and Wellbeing
We take the safeguarding of young users extremely seriously. Our AI interactions are monitored for safeguarding concerns. If the Platform detects or is made aware of content that suggests a young person may be at risk, we will follow our Safeguarding Policy, which may include informing a parent or guardian or referring the matter to the relevant statutory authorities.
By using the Platform, you understand and agree that we may take these steps where necessary to protect the safety of young users, even where this involves disclosing information to third parties.
If you are worried about a young person’s safety or wellbeing, please contact the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000 or the emergency services on 999.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform — including its design, functionality, training materials, branding, and AI systems — belong to Wings of Hope or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform or its content without our prior written consent. The Wings of Hope name, logo, and related marks are our property and may not be used without permission.
10. Availability and Changes to the Platform
We aim to make the Platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Platform for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, providing advance notice where possible. We may update or modify features of the Platform, and where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice to registered users and their parents or guardians.
11. Limitation of Liability
Wings of Hope Angels is a registered charity providing the Platform free of charge for educational and social benefit. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of the Platform.
- We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific purpose.
- We are not liable for loss of data, loss of content, or interruption of service.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights of consumers or children under applicable UK law.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party sites. We encourage young users to always check with a trusted adult before following external links.
13. Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, if we have safeguarding concerns, if parental or guardian consent is withdrawn, or if the Platform is discontinued. You may also delete your account at any time from within Platform settings or by contacting us. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for information on what happens to your data when your account is closed.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before pursuing formal action, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can try to resolve any concerns quickly and informally.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users and parents or guardians by email and display a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
